Wow I would go insane if my toddler was awake for this long! My 18 mo has been strictly going to sleep at 7pm (requite or take 30 min depending on illness, naps during the day, etc.). Wake-up is between 630 and 7am, and he'due south still on 2 naps - 930am for i i/2-2 hours and 130pm for almost an hr-1 i/2 hours.
My husband and I would NEVER take alone time if he went to bed whatever later on. Studies are as well showing that kiddos this age need at least 12-14 hours of sleep per twenty-four hours to let their brains to rest for all of the evolution, etc. - how are his naps? If he's up by vii, he should take a 5 hour wake window then nap around noon (give or take). He should exist sleeping near 3 hours (if he's only getting 9 hours at night), and then down by 8pm latest (co-ordinate to what I've read and our slumber consultant). A large help for united states was before bedtimes when we were in the eye of the madness and it helped regulate things a lot.
With that said, my kiddo'south been doing this since four months when we sleep trained him and so it's piece of cake for me to say what we do is easy now - it wasn't for a long fourth dimension. We've as well periodically checked in with a sleep consultant during sleep regressions and it'southward never taken more than a calendar week to become dorsum on track. I would suggest contacting someone (I retrieve information technology cost us $25 for both times we've used a sleep consultant). Practiced luck!
